Acceptable Use Policy
Rules protecting VPSRoom customers, infrastructure and the wider Internet from unlawful, harmful or abusive use.
Last updated: September 20, 2026Scope and responsibility
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of VPSRoom Services and forms part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for activity performed through your Services, applications, users and credentials and must take reasonable steps to prevent, investigate and stop prohibited activity.
Unlawful and harmful activity
You may not use a Service to violate applicable law; facilitate fraud; threaten safety; distribute malware; operate a botnet; knowingly host or distribute unlawfully obtained data; or knowingly enable harmful activity. Content or conduct that exploits or endangers children is prohibited.
Unauthorized access and credential attacks
Unauthorized access, exploitation, credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, password harvesting, bypassing access controls and using compromised credentials are prohibited. Legitimate administration and defensive monitoring of systems you are authorized to control remain permitted.
Security testing
Security testing is permitted only when you have authorization covering the target, method and timing. Testing involving VPSRoom infrastructure, shared systems or resources outside your control requires prior written authorization from VPSRoom through abuse@vpsroom.com. Calling activity research does not authorize scanning, exploitation, denial-of-service testing or access to another party’s systems or data.
Spam, phishing and deceptive communications
Unsolicited bulk messaging, phishing, spoofing, deceptive origin information, unlawful contact-list collection and evasion of applicable consent or opt-out requirements are prohibited. Legitimate transactional or consent-based messaging must comply with applicable law and must not create unreasonable network or reputation harm.
Network attacks and scanning
Launching, coordinating or knowingly supporting denial-of-service attacks, traffic amplification, packet spoofing, malicious proxy activity, unauthorized scanning, interception or activity intended to degrade a network, system or Service is prohibited. Ordinary diagnostics and administration of systems you are authorized to control are permitted when conducted responsibly.
Resource and automation abuse
Automation must respect technical limits and must not evade controls, create abusive load, consume shared resources in a manner that materially interferes with other customers, or scrape, mine or process data unlawfully. We may apply reasonable limits needed to protect shared infrastructure and Service stability.
Intellectual property
You must have the rights and permissions required for content and software made available through a Service. A complaint should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, its location and sufficient contact information for a proportionate review.
Fraudulent use
Using false identity or payment information, evading account restrictions, obtaining Services through deception, or using a Service to facilitate theft, scams or other fraud is prohibited.
Reporting abuse
Send reports to abuse@vpsroom.com. Include, where available, the affected IP address or hostname, timestamps with time zone, a concise description and relevant logs or evidence. Do not send passwords, private keys or unrelated personal information.
Investigation and privacy
We may review relevant operational records, request information or remediation, preserve evidence, and cooperate with binding legal process where reasonably necessary to investigate credible abuse, protect infrastructure or respond to a security incident. This does not authorize unlimited access to Customer Data. Personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, urgency, history and risk, we may warn, filter, rate-limit, isolate, suspend or terminate affected activity. Urgent threats may require immediate action. Enforcement is also governed by the Terms of Service, and nothing in this Policy limits action required by binding law.
